He was asking $15 I'm not sure what they are worth and that seemed fair so I brought it home. I finally have a place for the extras that don't fit in the safe. Any idea what this type of rack goes for?

I don't think I could build one for that, so $15 sounds good.

that's not a bad price, by the time you figure in labor and supplies you'd have way more than $15 in it.

Are the through-drlled holes for a rope to keep the weapons in the rack?

But...but...how are you going to keep your guns out of the hands of criminals that break into your house!

That one looks nicer than the one on Amazon.

The one on Amazon looks like it's made of particle board...

The felt is a nice touch...

That's pretty nice for $15.
Not a most outstanding deal, but not bad at all.

Yeah, I made a sweet gun rack in high school kind of like it.  I sold it at a garage sale many years ago.  I made a crossbow and part of a back action lock for a muzzle loader in shop class.  Try that in school now.  I also had two instructors that were gun guys, I used to shoot with one on our school gun club and the other on would have kids out to shoot muzzle loaders on his property.

In JR High I refinished my Dad's S&W model 10. we didn't have the correct buffing wheels at home. I asked the shop teacher and he said to ask the principal. I asked him and he said fine. As he was walking away he said don't shoot anyone with a laugh.

That wasn't all that long ago.

Put eye bolts on both outside uprights. next time you go shooting, bring rack, use eye bolts with large tent stake to make secure. You now have a place for your guns, besides on a table, bed of truck, or concrete shooting tables.
I would have offered $10.
