If you want something different you could get a Boberg. I'm not saying its a good gun, but its sure as hell different.

I will go with this. I was so happy with my P-09 that I bought another one. 19 rounds is pretty awesome.

current 9mm stable is the following:

Glock 17gen4
Glock 19gen3
Glock 34gen3
Beretta 92FS Italian built
Beretta M9 US built
Beretta 92S late 70s- early 80s production
CZ 75B
Walther P1 1976 production
Walther P38/II 1969 production
Erfurt P.08 Luger 1917 production
Ruger P89 1996 production

not really interested in a M&P or XDM

a Hi Power MkIII, S&W 39-2, PPQ 5in, and CZ 75 SA look kinda cool however

This, grab a W. German P225/P6 or P226. And an HK of some flavor too.

ETA - The HP is a no-brainer also. The P-07 or P-09 are great pistols too if you want a great value in a polymer CZ.

You really can't go wrong with any of your "hankerins" IMO.

I used to have a CZ-75, but it was one of the things I sold to help fund my move back home. I miss that gun.

The Canik Stingray.  $319 at J&G.

Forged chrome lined barrel, all steel frame, manual safety, ambidextrous.

Otherwise it is a CZ p01 clone and can share holsters and magazines, I have a 16rd CZ75b mag in mine with the p01 baseplate.

Comes with a pair of 15rd MecGars, the one in the photo below is my factory mag with snap caps at the time.

Hate to say this but: Since you have  a CZ 75 and all that other stuff you have too many 9 MMs already.  You don't need any more.

Those options are good, but I'm pretty sure a Hi Power is the clear choice at this stage in the game. It's strange that you don't have one yet.

I'm going to be a bit unlike myself and point out that there's a fresh batch of Glock 17Ls hitting the market right now.

I'd look for one of those Arsenal Strike One's that were just imported. These seem like a really neat, innovative gun that has a lot of potential as a combat gun. Very low recoil and muzzle rise per the video's.

How about getting a Browning Hi Power in 40 SW and then having a Gun Smith work on it to convert it to 357 Sig?

You're even supposed to load it like an HK! (Link)

I'm just interested in the range report.

More powerful for overall length, is what they mean. Their design fits a longer barrel in a shorter OAL.

ETA:

The Boberg XR9-S Shorty was designed to duplicate the ballistics of the G26...

PPQ.  Looks like you need a non glock polymer alternative.
