I don't recall the model but I think it was an Indian derivative of a Russian missile.
Cool video, actually. The rocket acts like it's thinking "over this way, a bit more, gotta GO!" But not so cool thinking about who might be on the receiving end. 
ETA: I think it was the Brahmos missile. Can't find the particular vid I was thinking of but it's the same missile. Youtube is full of vids of it. Kind of like a heavy PR campaign might produce. |

Actually that's really really cool. Rather ingenious. You cannot discount the Indians when it comes to developing technology. Their cultural differences can lead them to find workable solutions we would never dream of pursuing. For a US missile there would need to be a Zillion dollar steerable exhaust nozzle on the booster instead of the thrusters on the nose in a jettisoned ring structure. |
