That is why you can't say the enemy is Islam or Muslims in general, because muslims are not some monolithic entity. The fact that Al-Queda, ISIS or other terrorist organizations have declared war on us is irrelevant because they cannot claim to speak for or represent even a fraction of Muslims worldwide. One would assume that this would be obvious to anyone with half a brain.  So if a cult declares war on us and it isn't a nation state, we should not do anything because it is irrelevant? Nope.
