LETS GO FLYERS!
but were in a tough spot with defense more so than ever. We have some great D prospects up and coming, but no one really ready yet. Every day looks more and more doubtful Kimmo Timonen will return. Giroux/Voracek/Simmonds rest of the team need a better start this year. Every D man needs to step up a notch and Mason needs to play like he did last year and better I would love to see Seattle and Kansas city added in the west. Move the Panthers to either Markham ON or Quebec City. Then swap the Lightning to the Metro and CBJ to the Atlantic divisons. That way the retarded move of having the Atlantic being all northeastern + FL teams is gone |

I have a question for my fellow hockey nuts. My son's teacher sent home a list of player names, and asked him to find out what they had in common. Here are the players: Joe Sakic, Jonathan Toews, Steve Yzerman, Sydney Crosby, Mark Messier, and Ryan Getzlaf. My son went back to school, and said they have all been captains, and they all have won a Stanley cup. The teacher said, he was sort of right, and asked what made them all great captains. If it wasn't for Getzlaf, I'd have to say they all won the Stanley cup as captains. Can you guys look at the names, and see what we are missing? This is extra credit 5th grade homework, from an awesome teacher who also loves hockey.
