A bright blue lobster was recently caught by fisherman Jay LaPlante off the coast of Maine. The rare one-in-two-million crustacean was spared, and will live out its days at the Maine State Aquarium. Link

There is a company in Maine that grows blue lobster to sell commercially by giving the the proper protein which changes the pigment of the lobster. Some of the young ones got away years ago due to a storm increasing the siting of blue lobsters..
Not unusual to find multi colored hydrids now. The media blows these stories out to not cover politics |
