And Pearl Jam. Bob Dylan too. My dad went to see him a few years ago, he was playing with Willie Nelson. Willie Nelson apparently put on a good show, Dylan sounded like he "had a mouth full of shit." I think a prerequisite for his music is you HAVE to be stoned to listen to it. I can't understand how someone could NOT like Queen. |

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and actually agree with swingset.....most of the bands listed aren't "the worst" they are just making music that doesn't resonate with whomever says they're the worst.....Personally I'm not a fan of the Doors or the Beatles...but others are. and some of you are ranking music by what you hear on the radio...here's a little secret...many times, a bands best work..doesn't get airplay.

These threads are always a good time.
People can never tell the difference between a band that sucks, a band that you just don't like, and bands that suck but you like anyway (as far as musical ability goes). Example: I really don't care for Tool. They are extremely talented though. They just don't "do" anything for me. There are some bands out there with cookie cutter songs and very little talent...Nickleback comes to mind. Then there's bands say like...AC/DC maybe. Not a ton of talent (I wouldn't say they suck, but they aren't great for sure) but their music is FUN and great to listen to. Rush sucks? No, you just don't like them and that's ok. If you think they suck though then you don't know shit about music. |
