Huh. I never even knew Walmart advertised ammo in their ad.
It's on page 20. It says "Only at Walmart" too. Wally World exclusive? |

I'm sure it is just CCI Blazer with a different headstamp. ATK owns both now.

You people... I googled "federal aluminum 9mm" and the FIRST result was LINK $9.97 http://imagecdn-3.findnsave.com/193/10516959-420 View Quote Wow. How much is brass cased federal? |
My store had the pricetag sticker for Fed Alu .45. Sadly, they didn't have any. They were evil enough to place a bunch of regular brass ammo above the tag, which led me to heart palpitations. Price for the .45 was $14.95 iirc...

Rebranded Blazer most likely since both Federal and Blazer are owned by ATK.
I've bought Federal White Box with cases head stamped Blazer. |

In for a AAR that details the pros and con's and where stacks up between brass and steel.

PSA had American Eagle for $23/100 which is cheaper than Walmart used to have WWB. I tacked some with the $300 cases of XM193.
If one of you get some can you save the cases for me. I'd like to try making a coated alu jacket 30 cal bullet.

I wouldn't mind real blazer in fed boxes, but don't give me any of that weak Fed Champion to me in Blazer boxes.
Personally, I will never shoot any aluminum cased ammo. Ever.

I've gone through many cases of aluminum cased 9mm in CZ75, BHP, Glocks and 1911's. Never had an issue. It's all I'd use in training classes since I couldn't collect the brass anyway. Good, reliable plinking/training ammo, IME.

I am in for all I can afford . I have shot over 12,000 round of Blazer aluminum and it is great in spite of internet commando stories. I even run it out of my Uzi.

I've never bought any of the aluminum case ammo before since I reload I want the brass....but for under 10 a box I might consider it. I already have a lifetime supply of 9mm brass anyway.
A fun question, which I would never do, but...what happens if you try to reload aluminum cases? I imagine they're not boxer primed.
Case split and go boom? |

CAL9115 Unless Federal uses that designation for all 115gr 9mm ammo. |
