Why even convert it? Get a drum, mount and RDS and call it a day. Sweet score!

I haven't seen any for that price. Don't care either way, $500 is a good price. No shipping. No transfer fees. And I know there have only been around 50 shells run through it.
I'm happy.

Well, that's one nice thing about having married relatives.

Thanks to somebody else's divorce I picked up a Posness Warren 12 ga progressive reloading cheap years ago.

Sweet deal!  I have wanted one.  Conversions are fun, but there are a few tricks.  I have done in the neighborhood of 20.  The 1st one was a pain, but after that they all ran 100%.

Saiga 12 people will understand.

No, it turned out to be a real nice shotgun.  I didn't let it leave the shop until it ran right.  I did it in OD Cerakote with a Chaos rail, black furniture, and an eotech.  It had gas issues until I installed a DPH Arms Improved Gas Plug Regulator.  I also found reprofiling the ramp on the bottom of the bolt carrier to a more shallow angle smooths out operation. The best part is taking them out and making sure they run before the customer gets them.  I did 4 conversions in 1 week and that range day was fun.  12ga hulls everywhere.  If you do it right they will run with the cheap Wal-Mart ammo.  Have fun with it.  I wish I could have made one for myself before they went up in price, but I am more of a long range guy so my money always goes in that direction.
