This man served America and served the Ukraine fighting an old and bitter foe. He didn't give a speech. He didn't punch keys on the Internet. He hopped on a plane, picked up a rifle, fought and died a continent away and would probably do it again. Everyone dies. Not everyone actually lives. He did both. Better that than old age. Well said. Shakespeare's Caesar said it well also - "Cowards die many times before their deaths. The valiant never taste of death but once." |

I was on a very rowdy Braniff flight somewhere over the Pacific when a Sgt Major told us all to shut the fuck up sober up and sit down and quit grabbing the stewardesses......he was acting under orders of the Lt Col he was seated next to. When some dumb ass private (I won't mention any names) staggers up and spouts at the Sgt Major "Waddda gonna do send us to Vietnam"? followed by a lot of nervous laughter which quieted down when the Lt Col rose to his feet and replied....."No as you are already enroute to Vietnam the MPs will meet you at the gate and escort you to LBJ" We all said: "what the hell's LBJ?"..... Real waste of a talented intelligent individual using him as F'ing infantry.
He should have been put in a command position or at least been running something intelligence related. Instead those idiots put him out in the field as some private with a rifle, which I'm sure he wanted and yet he would have made more of an impact higher up the food chain. US Army Ranger, Major, Investment Banker, Spoke Three Languages, and that's how they use him? Oh...and FUCK Obama. Obama has no honor, no soul, and not an ounce of real leadership in his entire being. |
