All the locals know about their speed traps, and I didn't think they didn't much more then that. The mall went out of business and they now write a lot of tickets for revenue. Well that might explain a little more. Government is a place of screw up, go up. Probably should've been back at his desk. |

The last natural disaster I had to work was IKE. It went on for two weeks or more. My house was damaged and I had no power. I still had to go to work each day and only got a couple of hours sleep a night. I got thrown out into one of the hoods and had to deal with that on top of my own shit going on. I never pointed my rifle at anyone. The last straw was when some mother fucker stole my mother fucking crème cheese danish. I about lost it. All I wanted was a cup of coffee and a danish. I guess I didn't hide it well enough. They tried to appease me with a cupcake. I don't really have a point. I'm still just really pissed off about the danish.

The store owner's on his own property has a lot more leeway, and darn well should have a lot of leeway, not just in action but in behavior. |

I said a while back in another thread that the longer this goes on the more people are going to snap.
A lot of people will brag about how well trained and sharp their outfit is. Sadly they are wrong. Riots and protests don't happen every day. They were probably given a cursory rundown and told to go hold a line. He was a guy in over his head, never in a swarm or large crowd before and had an AR (like everyone seems to think every officer needs). Then this happens. Giving the agents provocateur more ammo. Everyone KNOWS the police have tied their hands and are seeking a political way of handling this when that boat sailed some time ago. Again...sad |
