Stating that the victim here made lifestyle choices that put her directly in the path of this kind of outcome does not condone the violence that was done against her any more than pointing out that Jews who got on the fucking trains would have been better off fighting than going along to their slaughter. It's pointing out a fact of fucking life, not excusing the act of violence perpetrated against her.

What happened to this woman was predictable, just the same as it's predictable that if you hang out on the wrong corner in Memphis you'll get robbed. I'm interested in people avoiding this kind of outcome and that doesn't happen when everybody spends their time ignoring the reality of the situation for fear that some #SocialJusticeWarrior is going to call them names.

Hopefully this story gets lots of coverage and people see what happens when you go after the sort of guy who has a rep for beating the shit out of women, and hopefully it's enough of a wakeup call for at least a few women destined to hook up with such a fuckwit to get themselves some help before they get their face pounded in and their throat slit. The girl here is a victim, but she didn't have to be. Stating that isn't justification for the act of violence against her, nor is it an excuse for what the douchebag did. It's a statement of cold, hard fact.

There are plenty of fighters who aren't violent douchebags who beat defenseless women almost to a coma. I know plenty of guys who do MMA, some who are even competitors, who don't do this kind of shit. Because they're not douchebags. They can crush skulls and break bones with little trouble, but they don't do so unless it's warranted. Often when facing violent opposition using the lightest touch possible to control the situation and adequately defend themselves.
