FUCK James Bond!
 There was a MUCH better secret agent out there!
The Silencers Used to LOVE watching these as a kid!  And what a multi-talented man! He could sing, AND act! And then there was golf. Arnold Palmer had "Arnold's Army", Dean had "Dean's Drunks"!
Pity that today, our "celebrities" (Kim Kardashian, pick up the white courtesy phone) have no talent at all, beyond having a damn fine ass.

The books and the movies don't share much, other than the name.
Both are entertaining, though. I think some one wrote a book of young Matt Helm's adventures in WWII. Death of a Citizen is one of the best, if not best, spy stories ever written. |
