If you are infected or think you are infected, why the fuck would possibly endanger other people by traveling back to the US. Or traveling to an airport in Africa. Why would you not hunker down at the clinic or whatever and start getting your affairs in order, calling family and friends, and monitoring your condition while waiting for the verdict to come in. Worst come to fruition man up and eat a gun or lock yourself in a quarantine ward and wait for your chance to spit in the eye of the Grimm Reaper. |

He had contact with someone who later developed the disease, so as a precaution he is going to stay away from people until he is sure he is not infected. This is no different than the 10-day quarantine they do on unvaccinated dogs that bite someone. It doesn't mean the dog's infected, it's just a precaution to make sure. |

Even if he was infected, as long as he was not showing symptoms he wouldn't have infected anyone. Ebola spreads primarily when people start spraying bloody diarrhea or vomit all over the place, or when their family members clean the body in preparation for the funeral, or when a doctor gets a tear in his suit or a needle stick or blood all over him. If he wasn't exhibiting symptoms on the flight home then there isn't a problem. He clearly wasn't, since he still isn't now, so I think it's safe to say that he hasn't infected anyone else, assuming he is infected at all. |
