Several of my gun buddies have organized a drive to get me equipped with an offroad wheelchair. My name is Keith Russell and I am 24 years old living a very active lifestyle with a spinal cord injury. I am attempting to get a tankchair. What a tankchair is, is an offroad wheelchair made to go anywhere. Snow, mud, trails and anything else thrown at this beast is handled with ease. Where my current wheelchair gets stuck or it simply wouldn't begin to go; this chair will with ease. I enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking and have recently tried getting into competitive pistol shooting. Basically each of my hobbies is currently out of reach if it has rained recently or I'm limited to hunting/hiking on the edge of civilization. I'm not the type to sit back and watch but my current wheelchair is often making that the case. So can you help me get offroad mobility?
Offroad wheelchair for Keith by Keith Russell - GoFundMe Any questions about whether or not I really exist, feel free to ask the MOHTF as I'd say half of them have met me multiple times. Thanks for any assistance and advice. |

I'm busted myself after pre-paying for my own upcoming back surgery next week. We are still negotiating with the DBA insurance company a proper settlement amount for the injury to my back and lungs while hobo'ing in Afghanistan back in 2012. It's damn near criminal how they've strung me along, but they have made an initial offer and now my lawyer smells blood.
I wish you luck and a bad-ass wheelchair in your future! |

Hi Keith, Was just checking out your videos, nice shooting! Do you mind me asking how you were injured? I'm in for a donation to your cause, I hope you get the cool bad ass chair!! Best, John View Quote Well born with a conjinital spinal cord abnormality. Basically not all vertebreas formed at birth. This led to CP like symptoms and diagnosis to age 9. That's where the fun started. Fell and was paralyzed neck down for an hour. This led to the discovery of a 75% severed spinal cord at the brain stem. So emergency spinal fusion #1 by Dr. Pait in Little Rock called the "inside outside procedure" it was experimental. It held for a while but was too weak. It got beefed up later. So fast forward to age 13... it's failing. Dr. Lenke and Dr. Mccarthy and Dr. Rowe in St. Louis determined the problems and started a 3 part fusion. They'd remove the inside outside (14 hour job) let it heal... put in their monstrosity of a fusion (15 hour job) let it heal.... then tie it into something I don't know and let it heal. This basically takes me to age 16. Neck is great and feels fantastic but my body is rejecting the new geometry. I was developing Kyphosis to counter act the C Spine being fused. This was pushing my spine into vital organs. This led to the full fusion to connect my pelvis to to the C spine fusion. It took 16 hours. That was 8 years ago. I was told I'd never walk again or really be independent. I can walk with a cane about 50 yards, drive myself, went to college and work with my families bbq restaurant and teach concealed carry classes with NRA Pistol Instructor Cert. I have chapters of textbooks about my spine, I've had special appointments where leading neurosurgeons have flown in just to see me and have been operated and see on a regular basis 3 of the top spine and neuro surgeons on the planet. I'm kind of a big deal |

Direct deposit hits tonight.
Hell, I bought a membership to the NYSRPA to help them out and odds are that I'll never go to NY. If I can do that, I can do this. Plus, some $$$ to this will just add up some karma points to cover me being such an asshole in GD. |
