I love this watch, I have almost talked myself into it. Anybody have it?

I've got a Divemaster Chronograph that my wife got me for Christmas 4 years ago. We were on a cruise, so she got it for a helluva good price. Absolutely love the watch.
It's a tad heavy, but I expected that for a dive watch. It keeps excellent time, and it's pretty damn durable. I am extremely impressed. |
I have an orange and black one. Love it, wish it had a light though as my Casio can damnnnearnlight up a conex
I have 2 also.
One was a wedding gift and the other just an "I'm fuckn awesome" gift. Guess that makes me a cheap bastard and my wife a good gift giver! |
Have but don't wear since it doesn't work, an Ecodrive but the battery went dead twice.
Won't buy another. I even set it in the window sill to get light. I liked it. |
I like mine but I got one of the more basic models.
Citizen Men's BM8180-03E "Eco-Drive" Canvas Strap Watch |
Love mine, but with two problems: a.) I wish the metal band was more durable (broke after about 7 months) andb.) I wish it had a light I could activate or tritium hands or something - the glow-in-the-dark hands just don't do well for when I'm traipsing around the woods at night...but then, that's what my g-shock is for Perfect watch for dressy occasions and pretty damned reliable. |

I have 2 of them. Great watches. I've got to get mine in for servicing though.

I have 2 eco drives and I hate them both. Only reason I have kept them is because they were gifts from my wife and mother.
Citizen says they never need a battery. That's been horseshit. They may not need a battery, but their capacitors have needed replacing. Oh, and when that happens, you can't take it to Joe Shit the Ragman's Jewelry Store, they have to go back to a Citizen repair center or certain jewelers who specialize in the replacement of these parts. From my experience, you have to keep them in light, damn near all the time. Heaven forbid you place them in a drawer where there's no light. Need a watch? Not gonna' happen until the Eco Drive charges up. I'd recommend against them, but I have just had terrible experiences with them. Sucks because they are very nice watches too. |

I have an Eco Drive titanium dive chrono, not sure of the model but I have had it for at least 7-8 years, and it has never had an issue, never been to a repair shop etc. I wear it 99% of the time (unless I forget it on my desk etc). Travel with it, shoot with it, dive with it etc., No issues ever, rock solid.
I would highly recommend them. |

View Quote I laughed, dog looking at me like I lost my mind. I have had the same experience with Casio G shocks. I have had 4 of them, took them in for battery and they are fucked afterwards. The one I have now doesnt need a battery.....so far. Still love my G shocks though. This one is more for casual/dress wearing. |

IME - almost no owners have any idea how to use even 10% of the functions.
I have had it in a drawer for a month, and it is still in time. |
I have a titanium dive crono that my wife gave me 12 years ago as a wedding present. I wear it almost every day. The only problem i have had was having to have the band pins replaced about 2 years ago. Other than that it has been rock solid.
I have the older version of that watch. It's about 13 years old still works like a champ. The metal band came apart 5 years ago or so, it was retard expensive to replace (and it is specialized you can only get it feom the manufacturer). I put a NATO strap on it and kept rolling. I have used the around the world feature literally around the world.

I have a Professional Diver Titanium that I have been wearing daily since 2005, just wore out the first band.
Takes a beating and works fine. Only complaint is the date is too small to see without my glasses. |
Eco-Drive Aqualand. Have had it since Christmas 2001, no problems at al
My vision has changed enough over that period of time that I have difficulty with the smaller dials and the date. Time to get a simpler dial face. |
I have a nighthawk that I wear daily that is on the original battery from 2006!
Mine is so old its discontinued. I wear it everyday. My wife got it because I was sick of replacing batteries and having the seal fail while diving then sending them in for warranty repair for water damage. I don't live outside but also do not live in a basement. I have never had the watch lose its charge.

On my second one but I'm rough on watches. |

I have a much more basic eco drive. It's worked for 7 years or so. I guess that's all I have to say about that.
I got one. It's the best watch I've had so far.
I got mine on newegg for a great price |

I have a citizen eco drive, perpetual calendar, E82. love it, great watch - had a problem with the watch locking up, totally frozen, after owning it for several years, and citizen took care of everything, no hassle, no cost to me (i might have paid shipping). they replaced the entire (motion?) guts of the watch
would buy another. |

I have had the Eco-drive Skyhawk for a little over 10 years now, with no problems of any kind. I did send it in once to have a sapphire crystal put in it . I had scratched up the glass crystal pretty badly. Now I wear it when I work on my car, and everything else. Not a single scratch in the crystal. I will never own another watch without a sapphire crystal. The only time my watch has not gotten enough light is during the winter when i wear sweaters that keep it covered almost all the time. My watch has a power reserve display. It gains about 20 to 30 seconds in 6 MONTHS. The only more accurate watch would be one with the atomic time feature. The spec is plus or minus 15 seconds a month. Soi mine is about 5 times more accurate. I would very highly recommend the Eco-Drive series of Citizen watches |
I have a Nighthawk AT.
Love it. I also have one of the less expensive chronographs. They just keep on 'tickin! |

I Have an Eco drive.
Spent $100 on it. I ain't as classy as some of y'all. |
I have had a basic one for the past 4 years, and I love it. It's a bit scratched, but I haven't had any issues with it.
I have a Blue Angels Skyhawk. Worked great for 5 years but then the second hand would get off. Sent it to citizen and they said everything was fine. A week later the second and minute hands were off. Now it doesn't do anything, even after leaving it in bright sun for a week.
Out of 5 year warranty, idk if they'd fix it now but I'm over it. I use my phone anyway. Ain't nobody got time fo dat heavy ass watch no mo. |
I've worn this one for 16 years: citizen
After the original band wore out I replaced it with a stainless bracelet. I tend to beat up watches pretty bad, this one's crystal has some minor scratches, and the bezel markings are sligthly worn. The bezel still works perfectly. |
I've had this one for a 5-6 years now.
http://www.citizenwatch.com/en-us/watches/watch-detail/?model=BL5250-02L I've never had any trouble with the watch. My only complaint is that the crystal seems to be fairly soft and scratches easily....but then again I'm pretty rough on it. |
I don't have the one in the OP, but I have 2 Citizen EDs that I love.
