Seriously, with all the stupid rules they have why allow Slidefires?
Because it's not a machine gun and there is no legal basis to call it one. With the stock, the trigger still functions as a semi auto, firing one shot with one pull of the trigger.
Because they have a had time finding legal ground to ban them ?
Because they know you can't hit the broad side of a barn with one

Slidefire still only allows one bullet to fire per pull of the trigger, and isn't like all those string, rubber band or ring type devices that affect the finger. If the slidefire stock was illegal, then so would bump firing, and thus just rapid fire in general. |
Laws are based on technical considerations (more than one shot per trigger pull). If you ban them, you ban everything.

Why does the BATFE exist? There is NO constitutional authority for it to exist, and specific constitutional enumeration (2A) that the firearm and explosives part of it are unconstitutional.
Yes, I know the U.S. Constitution has been repeatedly raped, and the abuse is supposedly explained by "taxation powers", "interstate commerce regulation", and "general welfare", but the warping of all of that is not what our founding fathers intended. Yes, I follow all of our BS unconstitutional rules and regulations, because I am too chickenshit to do otherwise. |
Do you even freedom bro?
Honestly if someone wants to spend 400 on a bumpfire stock let em.
Because shut up, you'll ruin it if you keep jibber jabbin' about it.
I'm sure they would like to, but they have no legal basis to.

View Quote I say roll the tax collection back into the IRS where it started from, and hand over all the enforcement to the FBI. Especially since it seems the ATF wants in on everything the FBI does(and argue with them about it constantly), might as well move the job there. Just think how much money you could shave off the national budget by cutting out the fat like that! |

Why does the ATF exist? If there is a right to "Keep and bear arms" why are there "Prohibited persons"? If there is a right to bear arms, why do people have to get a license to do so? The correct answer is that there is no right, only privilege

How could someone be here since 2006 and not already know the answer to this?

They lay out the definition of semi auto and it complies, The End.

Hold it, you got so upset over the Slide Fire thread you started a new thread to complain about them being legal? Surely they would never change their mind in the future and demand a list of names and addresses of customers.

I shot a friend's slide fire, I couldn't hit shit. Maybe I got to get used to it.

Because it's none of their fucking concern? Because they do not have the power to create law, that's congresses job?
OP needs to sit down and read the constitution. A S/F may be as gay as a couple ponies rubbing one out together, but it's a poor mans legal way to go have fun at a range, and turn money into smoke. Why are you so concerned what anyone else has, or uses, or possesses? "Freedom for me, but not for Thee?", MYOFB. |

don't ask these questions if you can't figure it out yourself
