I read this story a few years ago on another forum somewhere, similar situation to yours. Karma does come back on people.

There was some asshole like that ready to go through everything, and he'd been bragging about it, telling people he was going to lock them up. Well, one of his former friends that he was being an ass to found out when he was going to be drug tested. The day before or two days before, they threw him a party at a motel in celebration because, it will be cool to have a cop for a friend and neighbor.

They made sure he got passed out skunk drunk, and for his safety took him in the bathroom and laid him on the floor.

Some potheads crashed the party, and one of them went in the bathroom and lit up a joint. Not only that, but when someone else went to check on their buddy the pothead got scared an ran out, accidentally dropping the roach on the floor right next to the wanna be cop's hand.

They didn't realize it was there , and wouldn't have except a drunk chick decided to go to the bathroom to take some selfies, and got a couple with her and him in it with the joint visible.

The guy, unfortunately pissed hot, lost his chance, and the girl of course as girls will do, posted it on facebook or something and everybody saw it.

The guy never was able to join up again after that. Probably for the best though, because he was a dick.

Oh I know where I read that now. It was actually in a newsfeed on FB a few years ago, somewhere in Oregon or Washington state up that way. I don't know how true it is, but it is funny.

Him: Because you can't have the same weapons as the police

Him: Because we need an advantage over civilians
Me: Yeah because we aren't your peers right?
Him: Well yeah we have a badge
Him: I'm going to BLET in Sept. I'm going to become a reserve sheriff
Me: Good Luck don't get drunk and fall down.

So yesterday me him and two of my very pro-gun neighbors are standing around talking and gun control was brought up. While I run to the house to get my beer he tells my other two neighbors that he would like to see a swat team raid me to get those dangerous assault rifles away from me. He has no clue as to how many of anything I have. He has only seen one rifle (Galil) of mine which is now owned by one of the other neighbors in the conversation. With him trying to become a JBT should I be worried? I don't do drugs, I have no kiddie porn, nor do I make threats to the government. The problem is the current sheriff is a JBT as well. We had front page articles in our local news rag about the over use of SWAT in my county. Wondering if I should buy sandbags.

By all means do not take me stating his location as a hit on MI. My wife's first cousin is Married to Bob Seger's nephew. MI I thought was a very pro-gun state. That is why I was kind of open with them about owning a gun in the first place. But he does suffer from Yankeeism. First thing he asked was why was there not a watering hole within walking distance and started talking about how much better things were in MI. Funny thing is all that money he made with GM he really didn't have shit to show for it.

I would not be hanging with him drinking beers and picking him up off the ground .
