My wife doesnt like to wear lingerie since she say most of it has "frilly" stuff on it that is itchy. Instead she prefers her cotton underwear and my old t-shirts. And i find that quite sexy as well.

I have never been one that was all that into lingerie marketed for that reason. Stockings don't really do anything for me, I could care less about heels and corsets too. I do like it when the bra and panties match, but I prefer those to be taken off, obviously.
