I'm putting together my first build and this seems to be the consensus choice for barrel nuts. Is there anyplace this can be purchased locally, or is online the only choice?
Thanks.

Just go for this when its in stock and be done with it:
https://www.ucwrg.com/materiel/miscellaneous-components/18/aeroshell-33ms-grease/

That way you're not paying for more than you need, and one of that is more than you'll ever need.

Depends on where local is. I got mine online. Easier than calling 10 different stores and getting "yeah we have grease" as an answer.

I have a giant tube of the Aeroshell 33ms grease.

I can send you some if you want, because I have more than I will ever be able to use.

Just shoot me an im and I will get some out to you.

i bought two small containers from ebay.  Put together 2 builds so far and still have grease left from the 1st container.

I should have been more clear.  By local, I was wondering if there was an equivalent product available at automotive or home repair stores maybe under a different name.

Any quality "extreme pressure" grease will work just fine.
Look for molybdenum disulfide as an additive, buy a grease gun tube, use it on your build and use the rest of it on your lawnmower.

Thanks for the offer. The way people on this site offer to help each other is what makes this site great. I actually found some at a local airport supply store. The guy gave me some for a free in a plastic baggie, when he realized I only needed a little.

We are supposed to use a specific grease now?

Sheesh, this has gotten crazy.

Just grease it, you don't need a fancy grease.
