We made this memorial video for the celebration of Cooper's life. The day was both painful and uplifting. An amazing outpouring of love and realization of Cooper's impact in life.

I finished the casket in time, with plenty of stress thrown in the week prior. I've attached some in-process photos of it below (I couldn't bring myself to take a photo of it finished). I wanted to share this with you all, the many that have expressed their sympathy and support. I am and forever will be immensely proud of Cooper, for his earthly impact was greater without ever speaking a word than many through a lifetime. The joy that Cooper brought my family, friends amd perfect strangers should be oxvious by the video. He was one happy dude.

We got away this past weekend with the girls and all felt quite lost without Cooper. He made traveling so interesting. We loved getting Cooper out into the world; life didn't stop because of his challenges. Where it once bothered me the stares that Cooper would get, I grew to be proud and loved when he would reach to high-five unsuspecting staring strangers. His world was simple and unjudgemental. We are all better people from his example.

We are doing OK, all working to relearn life after Cooper a day at a time. We will look forward to seeing him again for as long as we live.

You and your family are in my prayers.

I lost my son almost 10 years ago after a 5 year battle with leukemia. Sadly, the pain and the hole in your heart stays. Cling to your memories of Cooper, they will lift your spirits in the dark times. Not to sound "preachy", but if you believe in life after death, that has been my biggest comfort. Knowing I will see my son again one day in a better place is my solace.

May God bless you and bring you comfort in this time of sorrow.

Thanks for sharing Deziner. Coopers story has humbled me and help me realize that most of my complaints in life are not worth mentioning. There's no doubt that Coopers life touched me as well as others on this site. You should be a very proud dad.

I just found this thread checking on Brandon's. I'm so sorry for your loss. Watched the video and downright cried. He was a beautiful child. Loved watching him playing with the bubbles. My kids loved that too.

I can't imagine what you and your family are going through, but have faith that God has the answers. I pray that He will give you comfort. Cooper is now with Him, perfect in every way and one day we will see him again.
