I'm relaying this for a friend who doesn't have an account and is out of options.

She has an apple laptop running Mac OS 10.9.4 and Itunes version 11.3. and an Ipad (doesn't know if its a 2 or 3) running the latest apple ipad OS

Apparently she updated the Ipad and Itunes this morning, and now the computer doesn't recognize the Ipad and the Ipad will not unlock via the password.

Also, there is no wifi connectivity on the Ipad due to it not being unlocked, so she can't do a reset via the find my iphone app.

All google suggestions have failed, as have several of the apple geeks.

Any suggestions?

That finally got it to work.

I should have come here first. We both googled for an hour and couldn't find this. This took 10 minutes
