After finishing the 60 pages I would attribute this to: lack of fathers or fathers who
don't care, pandering mothers, and the internet which gives them a meeting place that reinforces their issues instead of fixing them. Toss in shifting views in society as well I guess that does not confront their problems, but accepts them. There is no stress in their lives to push them out into the world. Everything is given to them either by their parent(s) or the gov't. The only real friends they have are via the internet and that is a case of misery loves company. Their deluded views of being superior to others I think is a defense mechanism for them. I am reminded of the guy who watched as a butterfly struggled to escape the cocoon. He decided to help and open the cocoon himself. The butterfly emerged as an adult, but was severely deformed. The struggle to escape was what helped to fill and shape the wings. What happens when their world ends? Mom goes into the nursing home or dies and there is now no one. Do they have real jobs? What they do has to cost money. I would imagine that is something they do not want to consider. |

You are correct when you postulate that which you call "normal humans" are the cause of the limp wristed girly men trying to compensate for their femininity with facial hair. However I disagree that that group in the middle, the "we" are the actual Normal Humans. We are the result of educating and applying our intelligence. The "normal humans", the base model - the result of pure evolution and survival of the fittest are actually the backwater savages that operate primarily on instinct and reflex mixed with the most basic of human intelligence. This alone distinguishes them from the local fauna by their extensive use of tools and excellent memory recollection. Yes we are normal to us, but we are not normal to human history.
