Truthfully, I don't know that his motives were false. He may have truly been interested. He just couldn't figure out why we wouldn't trust him implicitly. I'm not sure if his interest in guns was genuine, as long as his beloved government would allow it, or if his goal was to somehow be a sort of ironic charicature of gun owners. In the end, it was his comment in my sigline that led me to the opinion he wasn't worth taking a chance on. |
