I was going to say Nutribullet.  Easily cleanable blender.

I use it every day.  I am on my second one, I ran the first into the ground.

I would consider it the most significant technological advancement for consumer use since the TV was invented.

Gunnar, and then Gamma Ray computer anti glare glasses. Used to have headaches, and have bad eye problems, but this fixed all of that using a computer. The cheap gamma rays are just as good as the gunnars. Worth the $20 on amazon.

Huh...I read somewhere that they didn't work, or at least didn't work as described. Do they repel ticks and chiggers too?

I have mixed feelings on that one.

For me it was either a property like that, or a lake house. I ended up with the lake house. While I love the acreage and woods, with the lake house I have far less maintenance to do, i.e.. clearing woods of debris, snow removal on long driveway... Each has it's advantages/disadvantages.. :)

My Kubota 2350. Got it with mower deck , bucket, and rotor tiller attachment.  It has made getting big loads of firewood from back in the woods so much easier.  The tiller does an outstanding job in the garden - what took a couple hours before with a walk behind tiller in the spring now takes about 20 minutes.

Ain't sexy or revolutionary, but P90X dvd's had about the most tangible improvement on my life that I know of. Nothing that special about P90X, btw, it's just that it is a good all around program and I found it fun & challenging and it got me healthy & over my injuries and shitty sedentary lifestyle. Feel great, healthy, and no more pain.

On a smaller day to day level, microfiber underwear (Jockey brand, IIRC). You really don't know the discomfort of something like underwear so much until you have a pair that are so comfortable they actually improve how your pants feel. $10 a pair, but worth every fucking penny, I'll never wear cheap shit again.

Buying a dual sport bike really changed my life for the better too, prompted me to travel but in ways I likely never would have an explore the country far away from turnpikes and Applebees locations. Also worked hand in hand with staying in shape and learning to offroad and challenge myself to tackle harsh terrain.

And LASIK

Ditto on both.

Dance lessons.  Met the current wifey.  Fell head over heels for each other and been blissfully married.

CPAP.  Prior to getting it, I spend years being tired.  I was at times narcoleptic.

Masters degree.  Got me my first post college real job and has been a door opener for 35 years.

And a nearly $20K divorce in '04.  Sounds like a lot until you learn that it literally saved my life and I now have a better life than ever before.
