lol, that Tula is some nasty ass stuff. Considering how cheap it is, you can buy a lot of hoppes and CLP with the savings over brass.

You can tell they make the stuff with urine.    That wonderful ammonia aroma.

Still, $219 shipped is a damned good price.

I save Tula for my trashcan guns; only me little Armalite's get good brass cased stuff. I don't mind spending a little more to support an American company and have good XM193 ammo.

? ? ?
I guess I can't read what I typed. Let me try again

Ordering three THOUSAND  rounds of nine millimeter, two THOUSAND rounds of .223 .
Midway is ninety seven dollars and eighty nine cents higher than a different internet supplier, even using the discount.

I still can't find where I said I could buy one thousand rounds for one hundred and twenty dollars

Please highlight it in a bold color so I can find it

Good. More for me. Everything I own eats it up. Not a damn thing wrong with steel case ammo.

If you say so. But to spend thousands on a build only to feed it with garbage ammo just doesn't make sense. More so when brass is around $0.30 per round now.

Tula for blinking is fantastic ammo. If your rifle doesn't fire steel case it isn't the ammo it's your rifle. Hate all you want, ass fully prepped and ready, but for being its good stuff.

For dime-a-dozen ARs, why not.  For what you save in ammo, you'll have more than enough to replace the barrel.  Anything collectible or more valuable, like a SCAR I would stick with brass cased ammo.

Here's a site where they did a torture test.  I kinda doubt you would see the same wear with regular shooting, but here are there results none the less.

It goes bang. It's cheap. Does NO damage to the gun what-so-ever. Not sure what's not to like. Hell, since 22LR is still 10cpr most places, I'd rather shoot Tula than 22.

Correct. Under the conditions that most people shoot, you'd likely not notice a difference for THOUSANDS of rounds. They were doing mag dump after mag dump.

Decisions decisions.

Dumb question, how is this as far as defensive ammo? Yes I understand there is better and yes I know getting shot with ANYTHING sucks.

However, is it underpowered and generally just practice ammo? Or if you had to use it for other purposes would you feel worried, other than by if steel cased ammo worked in your rifle; talking more for a stack it up as its fairly cheap for a 'just in case' stash.

Or just spend .10 more a round and forget it?
