Wonder if you can walk in and buy a suppressor and take it with you
View Quote

My BiL came over for a visit quite a few years ago, and I took him P-dog shooting with my rifles and suppressor. He got such a kick out of it he started producing suppressors on the side in his rifle factory. At that time he made it sound like it was a simple over the counter deal. I don't know if it's still that way or not, I haven't been back or spoke with him in a while.

Suppressors are available in Denmark, and that store has them in stock according to their website. I don't know whether they require a license though.

There is a gun store 8 miles from me with 10,000 guns in stock at the store. It's around 17,000sqft. What the heck is taking up all the empty space in that one....the same double barrel with 511 different variations of engraving?

No, they have 5000, but there was an additional 2500 they couldn't use.

Sounds like you're jelly.

Nobody here is jealous of a gun shop in Denmark.

While they're more outdoors/hunting/camping/fishing outfitters rather than a pure gun shop, Cabela's, Bass Pro Shops, and Gander Mountain have large stores. And they sell a lot of guns.

Cabela's largest has 250,000 square foot or 23,000 square meters.

Bass Pro's largest has 500,000 square foot or 46,452 square meters.

Gander Mountain's largest store(s) is/are 120,000 square feet or 11,148 square meters.

ETA: If you like the outdoors and happen to be in the States, the larger Cabela's stores are worth visiting, just to see the taxidermy displays, live fish, ect.

I truly wish there was a country that did as well (or almost as well) as America on the few things I really care about: gun rights, home schooling, and religious freedom are all significantly better here than elsewhere. Other place certainly beat us on immigration, entrepreneurship, and general culture though.

Agreed.  All the fudd crap is getting old too.  The guys that hate shotguns are just mad because they suck at sporting clays.  If they actually joined a sportsmans club, they would see that people who do shotgun sports are extremely pro 2A.  I haven't seen these elusive hunters who want to ban sporting rifles.

So, instead of being happy for a European country getting a decent sized gun store, most of you would rather get in a dick swinging contest?...

I know and talk to plenty. Almost all of them ask why I own those "army guns".

I hate when a good thread gets derailed with factual info and srs.
