Just ask Sean Dyche how promotion worked out for Burnley. |

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho mocks 'boring' Arsenal and fans for Premier League drought Gunners fans spent much of the match chanting "Boring, boring Chelsea" as the Blues put on a solid defensive performance. But speaking after the game, Mourinho hit back at the critics with a typically witty response. The Special One said: "Boring is 10 years without winning a Premier League title. That is boring." |

Liverpool lose 1-0 to Hull Ahh, the garden spots of the Europa League beckon - provided Spurs and Southhampton don't overtake them. I thought they could make a run at a top 4 finish but decided they didn't want to score anymore. It'll be an interesting off season. At least I'll be able to see Gerrard in MLS |

For those of you that don't know or know the history, Rio Ferdinands wife passed away yesterday to breast cancer.
Ferdinand and Terry don't speak anymore due to the court case where Terry was accused of racial abuse to Ferdinands brother Anton Chelsea captain John Terry has this afternoon followed David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Gary Lineker in sending his condolences to his former colleague. The defender played alongside Ferdinand in Sven-Goran Eriksson's England team, but the pair developed a strained relationship following Terry's four-match ban by the FA after allegations of racial abuse against Ferdinand's brother, Anton. Speaking after Chelsea's win over Crystal Palace this afternoon, Terry said: 'I would like, on behalf of myself and everyone at Chelsea, to send our condolences to Rio Ferdinand and his family.' During yesterday's game at Old Trafford, where Ferdinand enjoyed his major successes, players donned black armbands and all the fans, home and away, chanted 'Rio, Rio' in an emotional show of support. There was also a one minute applause during the fifth minute - the number of the shirt that Ferdinand wore with such distinction during a trophy-laden spell at the club. After QPR's game, where Ferdinand plays, the club's manager Chris Ramsey said the footballer had been a 'man-mountain' during his wife's illness. Ferdinand's sister Sian has thanked friends and fans for their support since Rebecca's death Ferdinand's sister Sian has thanked friends and fans for their support since Rebecca's death He said: 'Everyone at the club will tell you, as a man, he has been fantastic. He has come in and trained and kept it all to himself. He is not been moping and has talked to all the young players. 'He has been a man-mountain. We only have good things to say about him and the way he has conducted himself.' The club had also worn black armbands yesterday afternoon as they took on Liverpool in their crunch relegation battle at Anfield. QPR player Leroy Fer offered his own personal support at Anfield after he scored in the second half during the 2-1 defeat by Liverpool, unveiling an undershirt with the message: 'Stay strong family Ferdinand'. |

View Quote Sad for Rio and his family, he was a good soldier ManU. Not a fan of Terry by any stretch but a bit of class here. Now if VanGal can get this teams head out of it's collective ass I might have some consolation going into the off season, my God what a terrible run. PS: Mourhino is a pure bred jerk, but he should be running the Red Devils. |

I haven't been following the league closely, who are the 4 teams that will likely rise to the BPL next season? |
