Somebody in the firearms community is lying (SHOCKER) about his military experience (ANOTHER SHOCKER). He also writes like a child (FULL OF SURPRISES), has a hot girlfriend (a genuine shocker), and is becoming, or is popular, on youtube? Lol. Ok.

The what if guilt stayed with me for a little while. |

I've been re-reading Paul Howe's "Leadership and Training for the Fight" (a great book BTW) and this pops up:
WHY DO YOU WANT TO TEACH?
Before you can begin teaching, you must ask yourself the most basic question: Why do you want to teach? Are you driven by ego, your self-esteem? Do you merely like to hear yourself talk, or do you have a genuine desire to pass information along? Take the time to first figure out why you want to teach. Is it to bolster your ego to feel important and have people sit back in awe of your stunning presence? Or, does it look to be an easy road and stead paycheck? Without her, the instruction is merely vapid, and lack any real interest. They nothing but a duo of amateurs, that posted video's on Youtube, how that made them legitimate in anyone's eyes is beyond me. I personally feel that threads like these should be relegated to a technical forum, in order to weed out all of inappropriate the sexual comments, posts by obvious trolls, and 90% of responses that have no business being posted in a thread that should be of serious concern to us all. We (the firearm community have to find a better way to police these upstarts, or we'll eventually have a federal agency do it for us. I, like many that have posted in this thread, initially found some comments quite entertaining, but after giving it more thought, this is a very serious subject. We have two young, and very immature people that have created a company based on firearm(s) training, and other than taking instruction from other "legitimate" instructors (I use legitimate loosely), they have no real world experience in creating an educational environment. If you tie in the two paragraphs mentioned above, you have a recipe for disaster, and that will eventually come down on all of us. Mark my words, with people like these acting as firearm instructors, it's only a matter of time before this gets the attention of those that will want to further regulate this budding industry. Some of you will say I'm taking this too seriously, but I don't think so. Our "hobby" has been under constant attack, and issues like this will not help our cause.
