The sight of your first child will fill you with an elation and resolve that cant be underestimated. For me, it made everything else in my life, even my greatest conquest seem trivial by comparison. I'm sure it will be the same with you. You will have a greater purpose and a much "bigger dog in this fight". You will beat this setback to shit. Thank you and good idea. Regardless of what happens letting my wife and daughter know how much I love them is always a good thing. Think I may start a journal to them as well.

I had a friend in a similar situation. He pre-recorded a lot of messages to his daughter while he could and made the most of the time he had.

Start an email account in your daughters name... Everyday send a note, video, picture, etc.... Let her have the password when she's old enough to understand.

Then in about 10yrs both of you can look back on all of this and laugh and smile knowing you kicked cancers ass, again.

You got this one bro, bottom of the 9th, three runs down, 3 balls and 2 strikes, bases loaded..... Knock this one out of the park.

Prayers sent OP. I have heard of remarkable progress in stem cell and T-cell therapy. The cell therapy is done by finding the immune component that the cancer responds to (it's vunerability) Those cells are extracted from YOUR body and multiplied MANY times over in the lab. Then those cells are reintroduced into your body by the BILLIONS and go to work on the cancer. This is the body's own immune system fighting the cancer. Look into and see if it's available to you and your particular needs for treatment. My Missus has Crohn's disease and I have more than a passing interest in new med. research and developments which use the bodies own systems to fight disease. There are incredible new therapies in the pipeline including genotyping the cancer and going after it on it's most basic cellular level.
