This June 25 & 26 will be the 125th anniversary of Custer's Last Stand.  According to the websites for the batlefield, museaums, and societies there are going to be some activities planned:  Living history encampment, artillery demos, seminars, ceremonies, etc.  Sounds pretty interesting if you are into that kind of thing (which I am).

I live in Michigan but I will be traveling with my Air Guard unit to Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota during the last half of June.  I haven't worked out the details yet, but I intend to get to the battlefield that weekend.

If anyone is going to be involved, or has any other info, let me know.
