It could be worse for the bears, they could have Kaepernick. Clausen was terrible in Carolina; I'm surprised he's still even in the league. Of course he was a wet-behind-the-ears rookie back then but still... Bummer for Cutler but he's just playing really bad ball as of late; but he's always been hot and cold, so I dunno. I don't think there is any doubt that Cutler gave them a better chance at winning than Clausen does. Of course the Bears haven't seemed to care about winning all season, so why start now? Monday night, Cutler just looked as if he didn't care on bit about doing his job. Cutler has been paid. |

Lots of lower level empty seats tonight.
TNF is not like MNF. Why can't the NFL reserve the right to rearrange schedules later in the year so they can put a game on TV that actually matters? Watching two 2-12 teams play is like watching two geriatrics at the early bird buffet fighting over the last slice of pie. |

Problem is those two teams are relatively young and their records are bad, and they don't really have any real superstars. Combine all that and it's no wonder why no one was at that game. |

$600k sack...that DOES deserve the "money" signs...

The game was better than I expected it to be. Nice to see the kid at the end get his sack for his performance bonus. Merry $600,000 Christmas! |

I hate to do this since I'm a Cowdoys fan and a Redskins hater but GO REDSKINS!

The Eagles had the game in hand and Romo Sanchez hands it to the Redskins.

When did this start happening? Seems like the NFL keeps making changes to the "Thursday Night" games. First they were only late in the season IIRC. Then all season. Then on CBS to start the season, then only on NFL network. And I thought Saturday was only for playoff games. |

I love how CBS is attempting to hype up the Chargers/49ers game.
"A game with major playoff implications." |
|
[#21]
Well that didn't take long.
Less than two minutes into the game it's 7-0 49ers. |
|
[#22]
Not even 20 minutes into the game and the 49ers are up 21-0. They also had a fumble on 1st and goal at the 5 or it would be even worse.

Yeah, I'm done with this game.
Bolts4Life, but I've got better things to do with my Saturday night. Like slam my face in a door. |

I want the (gulp) Niners to win to help the Chiefs, but stop giving it to Gore! Playing against him in FFL Super Bowl!

49ers hit a long TD, but it gets nullified due to a penalty.
On the very next play Kaepernick fumbles and the Chargers recover it in the endzone for a TD. 28-21 49ers with 3:26 left in the 3rd. |

Kap just reminded everyone how fast he is. I am a 9er fan and I am surprised at how short he made that 90 yards look

That was embarrassing. Then again, touchdown San Diego to pull within seven. This game is making me ill. |

Kaep has wheels and a rocket arm, nobody can dispute that. I think it's what's between his ears that might be holding him back. Sometimes I think people forget the analytical aspect of being a pro QB. Peyton Manning throws ducks and is slower than my dead grandma but he's still breaking records because IMO he's the "smartest" QB to have ever played the game.

And the Chargers convert on a 4th and 6 to give them 1st and 10 at the 49ers 26 down by 7 with 1:10 left in the 4th.
Yup, this sure is a boring game. |

As a multi-decade long Niner fan, I'm not impressed. Skinny little shitstain starts celebrating after his TD run, like he hasn't sucked all year. Then he shut down and figured he'd coast into a win. Now here we are, with their D shitting the bed again. FML |

49ers had to burn 2 timeouts because Kaepernick apparently has trouble seeing the play clock.
Could come back and bite them in the ass. |
