Some early lines for next week:
Arizona @ Dallas -4 Philadelphia - 2 1/2 @ Houston Denver - 3 1/2 @ New England Baltimore @ Pittsburgh -1 1/2 Indianapolis - 3 1/2 @ NY Giants Oakland @ Seattle -14 1/2 |
The last 4 scores have been field goals.
Didn't see that coming. |
Surprisingly terrible clock management from Brees at the end there.
The last 6 scores have all been FGs.
0 punts and 0 turnovers. It seems like both offenses have driven up and down the field with ease, but once they hit the red zone they stall. |

So is thus a prime time game that isn't a blow out? Whowouldathunkit

Went for it on their own on 40 on 4th and inches and couldn't pick it up.
Ouch. |

Kinda funny how NBC keeps showing replay close ups of Rodgers dropping F bombs.
I want the Saints to win and that was a bullshit pass interference call.

Perhaps not for long. Saints up by 14 and Rodgers looks hurt. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Gotta hand it to Vegas.
They made the 2-4 Saints a favorite over the red hot Packers, the public was all over the Packers, and then the Saints end up winning in a blowout. |
First time in NFL history there were 4 QB's with 400+ passing yards on the same day.
3 of the 4 lost. |
Game 5 of the World Series just ended and the home page of espn.com features an NFL game that was a blowout.

Cowboys 27 Redskins 13
IF the Cowboys somehow manage to lose this game it will be because they beat themselves. Cowboys are clearly the better team with better talent. Personal mistakes will lose this game if it happens. The Cowboys will score points no doubt , but they should be able to hold a shaky Redskins offense to under 2 touchdowns. Once again if the Redskins allow the Cowboys to run the ball like we have all season it's game over. I think we can beat them through the air with Romo but the running game is money. Cowboys fan for life and the last 15 years have taught me not to rest easy till the game is over, until they prove me wrong. We won a game last week that we were supposed to win , we are supposed to win this game tonight too. Tonight will be another testament to how good this team really is. Winning the games we are supposed to win is the key. Upsets are exactly what they are, upsets. We upset the Seahawks and were not supposed to win that game. With Dallas being a 10 point favorite tonight we are supposed to win this game. Even if we only win by 1 point in the last minute of overtime we are supposed to win tonight. Just get it done! |

They need to start Matt Simms and see what he can do. If he's bad, it doesn't matter. If he's good, it allows for more flexibility in the draft. 8 games is enough to get a good idea.

alright am I the only one that saw that fat whale in cammies rolling out the flag at the Dallas game just now?

Damn. Cowboys turning the ball over. Redskins really need to capitalize on these TOs if they want to stay in this game.
Damn, Romo took a nasty hit and was down for a long time. Walked back to the locker room on his own. As much as I like to make fun of him I hate to see anybody get hurt.
Damn, DeSean Jackson is playing hard even with a few underthrown balls. Amazing catch just now in double coverage.
