 A design by Pistol:
Hear ye, hear ye. CWE2 is in full effect. Same place. Appomattox, VA. The event will occur 11/6-11/8 with people being allowed to stay through that Sunday, but no activities involving shooting on Sunday. We're respecting Church service next door. There will be a NV course, Snakeskin has contacted the Sheriff to make sure we'll be OK. We are a go! The course: Obstacles Peeps and AK 1/2 mile pistol/rifle range (2 Mag limit) Chug 72oz of Carbonated non-alcoholic beverage Puke (if you're smart) OVERALL RULES: Follow all firearms safety rules. No handling firearms after drinking. No items of a sexual nature, there are kids around. Must sign waiver before running course. If you break any of these rules you will be banned from this and all future Cola Warriors. COURSE RULES: 5 minute penalty for each failed obstacle. Each obstacle must be attempted for at least 10 seconds. 5 minute penalty for each peep uneaten or spit out before chug. 5 minute penalty for each target left un-hit, one hit each steel target. 2 mag limit for pistol, 2 for rifle. 5 minute penalty for each Carbonated beverage unchugged. 10 minute total chug time allowed, everything left after will be penalized. 6 12oz cans, 3 24oz cans, or 1 2liter with a 5oz chaser are the only allowed sizes. If you vomit before finishing a 12oz can, no matter how much is left that can it is a 5 minute penalty. If you vomit before finishing a 24oz can, no matter how much is left that can is a 10 minute penalty. If you vomit before finishing 2liter it is a 30 min penalty What you need to bring: Your "A" game Camping gear Rifle, pistol, mags and ammo, Eye and ear pro Please try to consolidate as much gear and vehicles as you can with fellow Cola Warriors. Parking is limited, so shuttling may be necessary, but I hope not. Share rides and tents where you can. Crow is our range master and is providing steel swingers for our targets, plus labor. TrojanMan is handling our main sponsors again (thank you Ted) Loco is our big contributor! Snakeskin (Brandon) is paying for things and providing materials, gas and labor. P_more is paying for things and providing materials, gas and labor. We appreciate all contributions. All personal sponsorships are more than welcome. bamaflinger: TBA for the volunteers. phurba: NC Star scope for the person who engages the rifle targets most ineffectively. Captain_Morgan: a fifth of Captain Morgan to fifth place. Longboat: 200 rounds to the fastest finishers using 45, 40, and 9. Top time gets the caliber they use. The ammo is Federal HST, 230gr, 180gr and 124gr respectively. themollusk: AK champion gets a drop leg custom mag holder/trashcan. Fastest chug gets a gold army man chalice! b-stitch: 40th place gets a 40 round pmag , 30th place gets a 30 round pmag JoshAston: Peep patches for all participants and maybe more. Marmike600: Prize for best caber throw is a bottle of 15 year old Dalmore. surveyor3: 140rnds of Barnaul 7.62x39 for the fastest runner with an AK Variant. YukonBoy03: 3'x5' Gonzales Flag for the largest caliber rifle used; for tie-breaking, the heaviest. Attendees (who can still back out with reasonable time or a very good excuse): Remember, CW vets get priority. . ETA: I have to wait and see what my clinical rotation schedule is before I can commit. ETA #2: FUUUUUUCCCKKKK!!!!!!!!!! I'm out. We already were obligated to attend a wedding ceremony on those dates. Hopefully the date of CW (or the wedding) gets moved.
