I had both going but I find the T1 super easy to use. Had I known that before I got the X400V, I would've gone with the X300V.

I don't have any helmet mounted illum and I'll probably keep it that way

I was taking some photos, so I snapped one of the CWAR-T.

It's a pistol, so maybe the "R" part is incorrect, but "CWAP"...  well... yeah.

So I'm calling it the CWAR-T until someone else challenges me for a .22LR variant.

No, because I'm not stamping a .22.

I don't mind shooting it one handed at all.

It also shoots really easily with just a cheek weld, too.

I still have my CQBR clone, but the M4A1 was just too heavy for what it was.  The Geissele Mk4 seems worlds better just based off balance alone IMO.

As an aside, I only played with Kaik's under NODs, but that dot is stupid easy to use.

As much as I like laser toys, I think if I had a 6 second mount, I'd just use the T1.  Either have a white light only on the handgun, or just go entirely without and use helmet mounted illum.

I still haven't tried mine. But I uses my old RMR and hand no problem hitting targets with it.

The conditions were very favorable this year. I could see all the targets without illumination.

Red dots on pistol are awesome with NVGs, as long as it isn't so dark that you need an illuminator AND/OR your illuminator isn't back splashing off your arms and pistol. For a simple demonstration of this, take a white light, attach it to your head, and go try to shoot something at 40 yards at night.  This year, the IR laser/illuminator on my pistol worked well. I found the red dot harder to acquire in a hurry, but that's because I have so much muscle memory (stop snickering, Kai ) with iron sights. No matter what kind of red dot you get, it will be higher on the optic plane, and will change your body mechanics to get sight alignment.

For the other reasons I prefer lasers, please attend Ace's Night HD class.
