Somebody said the yellow only has like a 6-year life.

That means you've got 1-2 more years on that gas.

And it's like $500 for them to refill it.

I could be wrong.

My mini 4 works great without adding a lot of weight to my Cwar.  I offered to let RA try it, but he refused because it had been in contact with keymod.

Is it a proto if it uses a non Mk4 rail?  Do I understand it correctly, that the Mk4 is the favored choice for the weight savings?  Any forward grips allowed?

CWAR- 18 or 16 inch accurate barrel. Full length Mk4 rail. TA33, SSA-E trigger.
She-CWAR -14.5 pinned lightweight barrel, Full or mid length rail. (Mod 0 is MK4, Mod 1 is ALG EMR.) SSA-E trigger.
ROCWAR- 12.5 barrel, mid length rail.(Mod 0 js MK4, Mod 1 is EMR.) TA33, SSF trigger.
SCWAR - 10.5 barrel, mid length rail. Low power optic (T-1 or TA44s), SSA-E or SSA trigger.

ETA: Proto-CWAR would be KAC URX3 rail.

How do you do it? Vice receiver blocks and go at with KAC tool and torque wrench? Don't want to fuck anything up. 13" mk4 rail is ready to go...

So if your rifle is of a CWAR pattern, but doesn't conform 100% to a true CWAR, is it a CWAR prototype or what?

Rifle in question:

-Colt 6920 base rifle

-13" Geissele SMR Mk4 in DDS

-16" Rainier medcon middy barrel w/GB

-Homemade brake in the pic, but PWS Triad is on it now

-Vortex PST 1-4x in a LT-SPR mount

-CW ejection port cover

-B5 Bravo stock in Coyote

-Magpul MOE+ grip

-Geissele SSA-E

-Magpul MS4 sling
