Looking to see what other people use.  I'll start.  Mine is a Gen2 Glock 22 with 9mm conversion barrel, and 33 rd magazine.

ETA: Don't want to know how you store it (OPSEC and what not), just want to know what it is.

I carry a cell phone with 911 on speed dial.. Because

1) there is no crime in NJ
2) a gun in the truck would be a felony

Dude that sucks.  If you have a permit, can you carry on your person in a vehicle?

No use trying to rob me while I'm in my truck. My girlfriend already beat him to it.

But if she left any change, I keep a Glock 17 Gen 4.

If I had a truck gun it would look like this one. If I CCW'd I would carry the smaller one.

Fixed it for you.

I don't own a truck.  I don't keep a gun in the car 24/7.
If I put a gun in the trunk it's usually this one.

Sometimes I use one of my milsurps

I would stash a pistolgrip 12ga and a KISS AR if I had to.  But I live in a nice area.  If I lived where a longun fight might be plausible I would move.

I hear too much about guns being stolen to want to assign one to my unoccupied vehicle.

Regular? Just a short little NEF shotgun with some barrel inserts for other calibers, locked under the rear seat.

Trouble? Saiga 308, converted, 16" barrel, folding stock

Where do you find the barrel inserts?  I might be interested in something like that.

They don't honor ANYONE'S CCW, that I was aware of.  NJ CCW is like witnessing Unicorns mating.  Forget it, you won't live long enough to see it.

If they're carrying in NJ, it's probably off-duty LEO.  Even then, there are a LOAD of places you can't carry.

NJ is so gun-phobic, it's a miracle they let cops carry.

GaugeMate. They occasionally have clearances on their website when they change designs, they're a bit expensive otherwise. You're only going to get shortbarrel accuracy, but it's a nice option for shooting a pistol caliber out of a good condition single-shot.

I usually just have my EDC which is G23 since I worry about my car being broken into while I am work. I don't want to worry about one of Obama's kids robbing people with one of my guns. If he has my G23, it would be slide locked, out of ammo and pryed from my dead hands.

I love Glocks, but FUCK THAT THING IS UGLY? And why go through all the trouble of converting? Buy a 17 if you like nine better or carry more .40 mags if you are worried about capacity.

One time we had a big calamity here that resulted in everyone's power being out. Mine was out for about 30 days. On Day 1 I made it to work not really understanding the severity of the situation. By the time I was on my way home though I figured it out when I saw a riot at a gas station. It still had power and could pump gas. After that I pledged to never leave home again without a long gun. I have used different things at different times but for the past several years I have used this Mossberg 500MILS with a side saddle. Woe be unto those between me and my house in the event of nastiness.
