The boys in blue won this particular fight. However, I bet the "pucker factor" was as high as a satellite for the squad car driver. Thank God for kevlar vests, windshields and poor aim by the assailant (who, according to the video, is now taking a much deserved dirt nap).

I always wonder what idiots like this are thinking. At least 2 cruisers were on him. 2 cops per? What is he going to do. kill 4 cops, drive away. Then what? You know there are dash cams. You know they ran your license and plates. What are you going to do. Really?

I seem to recall John_Wayne777 did a windshield test shoot several years ago and the results of that test can be found on Old_Painless's box o truth website. IIRC, he was testing how much deflection and penetration could be obtained by common pistol rounds after going through a windshield. However, this test occurred several years ago and my recollection of all the data that was obtained might be a little hazy by now. |
