You would never know it was airsoft unless you held it, I could probably even put it in some peoples hands and convince them that its real. |

And it got to the point of pleading with him for a second," Anniston Police Chief Shane Denham said at a news conference on Tuesday afternoon. Denham confirmed the man's identity as Frank Charles Johnston, 53. The officers fatally shot the man after he pointed the gun at them and assumed a shooting stance. The gun turned out to be an Airsoft M-1911 replica pellet gun, but the officers didn't know that at the time. The person who called 911 identified himself as "Frank." The man killed in the incident was named Frank Charles Johnston. He was pronounced dead on the scene. After the shooting, Anniston investigators called the number the 911 phone call came from, but didn't get an answer.
