Choosing a CD to play is a big deal for me and the opportunity is here. What would you pick? You can even suggest a mix CD provided it doesn't suck (no mp3). Keep in mind that the Jeep may reject it at will. It also may refuse to eject it.
Some preliminary thoughts: Exile on Main St Money for Nothing Brothers in Arms (forgot the album title) ETA: If you say MIX, then you have to list at least a couple songs. |

I have a 6 CD changer in my truck...I usually end up listening to the Metallica Black album, I couldn't even tell you what the other 5 in it are.

Probably one of those kickass mix CDs I used to make back in the day that had like 20-30 songs on em

It would be a mix of just about everything.
Edit: I'm not sure what your musical tastes are, but I got some good mileage out of "And You Are Me" by Uncle Lucius. |

|
Bad Religion - The Process of Belief

Buy a cd input aux adapter and attach your phone or other mp3 player and listen to whatever you want.

Either Pink Floyd's The Wall Live '81-'82, or Pulse live, or Delicate Sound of Thunder live...

If I had to put one single CD in my car right now, and listen to it for the rest of the year, it'd be an iPod.
To fit with your theory, though, my CD would be Yellow & Green by Baroness. |

Right now I'd have to go with Queens of the Stone Age - ... Like Clockwork

I fed my car a blank CD just to make it think it's playing something, meanwhile my mp3 player feeds whatever I like to the stereo... If this is just a hypothetical derp question, then I'm out. if you want to know how to do it, it's easy after you figure out how your CD player comes out and which ribbon is the sound. |

I have been listening to Big Head Blues Club - 100 Years of Robert Johnson for about that long. Great CD if you like Blues music.

You wouldn't think it, but there's an upside to having a quirky CD player. Picking music becomes a big event--something of real significance.

That's pretty much what I've been doing.
Private investigations. - the best of Dire Straits & Mark Knopfler. You're welcome. Second runner up would be Brothers in Arms, however, PI has a lot of great songs that BIA doesn't, such as Telegraph Road, Sultans, What it is, Why aye Man. Ironically, the title song on PI is one of the only songs on the album the sucks. |
