I was told when I first joined not to go into GD. It was good advice that I adhered to for a while. There is a ton of good info here. GD is not the location of most of it. There are some gems here and there in GD. |

At certain times of the day I will be reminded of firearms, and every once in a while think of something I saw or read on GD:
5:56a/p 2:23p 3:08p 3:57p etc. Sometimes I smile. Other times I just shake my head. I also learned that the first couple posts on any given topic will pretty much nail it down. After that you can just scroll through for gifs / pics. |

Lots of good people here, Hung out with some of them GD cracks me up Need info on anything from wiring a thingamabob in your house to help with a math question, you will usually have it in 20 mins or less in GD cause of the high traffic New ideas from guns to food to just gotta have it News is usually here first before it's on the news Some of the unusual shit I would never know about I find out about in GD Cons: GD has a way of hurting ARFCOM and shooters in general. There have been subject matter experts here in the past that got run off by 'tards cause the 'tards are to stupid to realize they are wrong and dont know wtf they are talking about. No shortage of creepy people, the white knights, and leg humpers. Jezzzzzus people, pornhub and POF are just a step away on the internet use them instead of creeping out half the lady folk here. This also goes with wife pics. I dont give a fuck what some dude 10 states away wife looks like. THE NONSTOP POLITICAL THREADS...this is the reason I pretty much leave GD during election cycles and hangout in the tech forums The religious shit, dont care one way or the other. If you found Jesus, great still I dont really give a fuck. Trying to argue about it just makes you and the person your are arguing about with it fucking dumb The trendy shit and phrases(ARFCOM'isms as I like to call them) but this happens everywhere and I dont really care one way or the other. With the exception of the first Con I listed. Everything else has just been repeated so many times here that it has basically ensured that if I opened up GD in 2001 or 2014 kinda looks the same. |
