He thinks Bundy doesn't respect his country? Didn't I read somewhere that they were trying to take the land back so they could make a wind farm out of it? May have been a solar farm.
I also made this point on Facebook shortly after this all went down: They claimed to be taking his cattle for 2 reasons. 1. To protect the Desert Tortoise 2. He hadn't been paying his grazing fees However, had he paid his fees they would have left him alone. So apparently them getting their money instantly negates the threat to the Desert Tortoise? The logic behind the BLMs actions was so blatantly flawed it's a wonder there hasn't been some sort of corruption investigation. ETA: Oh and the wind/solar farm was going to be corporately owned by the way. |
