I looked a round as I have stacks of Playboy that were my Dads , most are slow sellers or almost give away prices

I had every pre 76 Playboy and many Penthouse and others that I had to abandon when I moved to AK, the ones that were not glued shut were quite valuable

Freakin' THIS.

Scatter them randomly around town. It will mostly be humored/embarrassed adults who find them, but a few lucky boys will find them and be forever grateful. As a kid, I found a few pages of one on the sidewalk as I walked home from 8th grade. All wide-eyed and full of "holy shit!", I stashed them in my backpack without even breaking stride. I felt like I'd won the lottery. What a great memory.

Seal them in plastic and hide them in the woods. That seems to be what everyone else does.

How many stories have you read about a group of kids finding a stash of magazines in the woods.

Ok, so I've flipped through a few, but something about that soft focus and bushes that I could lose myself in just don't do it for me. There's a few 2000 something mags thrown in though, that you bet I've looked at, thoroughly.

The brilliance of this is the plausible deniability.

"... just look at the date, 1972... these were already in-country, we bought them at the local bazaar."

It has been a few years, but I had several milk crates of porn mags and needed to dump them.

I called around to adult bookstores and found a place that would buy them for 25 cents a piece if the cover was intact and they weren't otherwise fucked up.

There were a few magazines in the collection that I was aware would fetch real dollars on the open market but I didn't want to take the time to manage the sales.

Had a buddy help me haul all the crates into the adult bookstore and walked out 30 minutes later with a fistful of money.

I'm looking for a copy of May, 1985 - specifically the short story "the Second Civil War" by Benjamin Stein as detailed in this archived thread

Not sure if Benjamin Stein is the same Ben Stein we all know and love, as the story does not appear in any of his attributed works pages.

Don't look for the Traci Lords one.  If you find it, you don't have it.
