rest in piece little jedi. May the force be with you |

Sad story....
I am surprised the UK police allowed the stormtroopers to carry guns....
|
|
Man, of all the things to deal with in life..... I don't know if I could handle losing my son.
Godspeed, little jedi. |
|
|
Fuck that, made it about 1/4 through and couldn't do it. Being the father of a 6 day old baby boy, not something I even remotely want to think about.
RIP |
|
Very sad.... my nephew died from a brain tumor when he was a few years old plus I'm an identical twin as well so I can only imagine how the brother is feeling right about now. I wouldn't know what to do if my brother passed away.

The thing that really tears me up is thinking how to have this convo with a 4 yr old? Especially when he says dad I want to have star wars stuff at my funeral.....I can't comprehend it.
edit- maybe they didnt and it was the parents idea after rereading it. |
|
Damn that's tough. Cherish every moment with your kids guys, you never know how much time any of us have.

Not sad, he went out like a boss. No one's ever going to forget his funeral or the story behind it, not bad for a four year old kid!

I couldn't imagine as I have a five year old who loves Star Wars.
Late last year a young boy died from a rare form of cancer. A local group of superheros that we hired for my sons 4th birthday were the pallbearers for this young man as seen on the link. http://www.wchstv.com/newsroom/eyewitness/131115_20806.shtml |

Kudos to the armored escort that made good on his wish. Talk about pulling bad duty.
|
|
The most horrible thing I can imagine....poor kid.
They're so brave though....even in the face of it all ending, they hold their heads so high. I couldn't be as strong as kids are that suffer that fate. Fuck cancer. |

Jeez. Sleeping with my little one now after reading this. He's named Luke and his room is decked out in a Star Wars theme.

Being the father of two sons born with Myotubular Myopathy, this is my biggest fear. Family has my prayers.
