105 pages on friday? And it started off really well on Monday, slowed down a lot. I don't think we can blame OP on this one. It's always op's fault! Well he doesn't feel bad and you should feel bad. |

Are you a "we are equal to cars" or a "we are pedestrians" biker? I am a "He Who Is Biggest Has The Right Of Way" kind of biker. I do get pissed at jackasses who pass me on blind corners or who don't give any room when they pass. That is why I stay mainly in residential neighborhoods. On my 50 mile route, I have maybe 10 miles of that on "major" roads. |

There are lots of roads around here that I would LOVE to bike on but speed limits are 45 - 55, and folks drive them even faster. Does not matter if I have a right to be there, I would lose that encounter every time. |

When are they going to come up with a breathalyzer for your phone? I think there is an app that doesn't allow you to text certain people after a certain time...might have to look into that.

But riding on a road that's marked 45 and routinely driven at 55 doesn't seem smart to begin with, add in that the bridge that goes over the railroad tracks is extremely narrow (no shoulder and the lanes actually shrink too), and because it's so steep you end up with a blind spot on top and you seem mighty close to "do you have a deathwish"? |
