Folks are paying top dollar for Gen II non-chainsaw lowers and they are showing up with issues galore only to get the run around by Noveske CS.  What's going on with these Tier 1 people??

I'd be pissed to spend money on that

I've bought cheap ass lowers that looked better than that, until I fucked them all up

Yeah, only reason to care is because paying top dollar for those.  My Spike's lowers for less than half that look much better.

Was there a certain problem that kept rearing it's head , or a random bunch of different things that were getting by ?
Also....what's the price difference between a 'chainsaw' lower and a regular , premium unit ?

Then your not operating on tier 1 status then. We all know you either run noveske, larue, or bcm. If not, your just a fucking neckbeard looser wanna be.

I see what you did there, Ms. Jane.

Also, I find some amusement in the complaining thread.  Would I pay that much for a lower?  Hell no.  So long as it is within spec, who cares?  All it does is hold things together.  The real important bits are in the upper, anyway.

Firm believer of the "lower is a lower" saying when it comes to forged lowers. Have narrowed down my choices to CMT or Mega when I get around to picking up my first billet set.

I thought the chainsaw lower deal was pretty clever, but I guess they really opened themselves up to people expecting the full price lowers to be flawless. A lot of that looks no different than some of the bashed up stuff that Colt sends out the door.

That pretty much hits all points.

I wouldn't care about it myself, but then I'm not the target customer for the cosmetic market.  I'm not paying $350 for a lower in the first place, so...

I would expect much much better from a non Chainsaw lower from a premium brand like Noveske. If it is it's being sold as having cosmetic flaws I'm out of give a fucks for those who complain so long as they function.
