back when I had my ffl I could have bought colt's all day long for around 400 dollars, didn't want any back then, who knew.

A baker's dozen of ARs.
Which reminds me.........is there any app or software for firearms inventory tracking. My Excel skills suck and the app I tried sucked worse. |
|
Where is the button for "I used to own one but had a boating accident"?
|
|
There is no option for more than 1 AR. own an AR15 denotes 1 and I own more than 1.

Colt select-fire M16A2 rifles weren't that much more than a semi-auto AR15 before passage of the Hughes Amendment in 1986. I remember seeing them advertised in SGN for less than $600.00. If you lived in an NFA-friendly state and had an extra $200.00, you were in like Flynn. That was my plan. By the time I turned 21 and moved out of CA, my dreams were out of my financial reach because prices shot right up after the bill was passed |

I didn't own an AR-15 until about a month after I joined this site. I was 18. Always had a gun though. I cannot understand why someone would be on this forum and not own one gun, but to each their own.

I have a DPMS lower which I built into a 20" rifle using a Del-Ton kit, and I have a Colt 9mm Sporter which I bought from another arfcommer. Other rifles: a Mini-14 (my first gun; a gift from my dad), and an M48 (a christmas gift from my father).

I don't own any guns.
I destroyed them all after all the recent negative press about guns. |

im an ak guy personally. Planning on a spa ar here in the next month or so just to "have one." Something about a good ak to me is better than any ar I've shot.

Technically, I own one AR-15, but it's still a stripped lower. For now, my main rifle is an AK.

Used to own handguns (revolvers and semi-autos), shotguns, rifles (including ARs) until that tragic day on Lake Michigan.
Damn boat! forgot to put the plug on the bilge. They are probably a hunk of rust parts on the bottom of the East Bay in TC by now.... Just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes. |

Guns are banned here JK. They are ridiculously expensive though and ammo is way expensive too, so I simply cannot justify it at this point in my life. I have plenty of other things to pay for. |

I'm from Calif and everyone knows us Calif-boyz don't and/or can't own any guns... I'm only here for the drama... |
|
|
Only 70% own an AR?
In fairness guns are icky and this is a good time to start building streed cred for the mid-term election cycle by the DU trolls. |

Bought my first AK in 94 and my first AR in 95. Then there was the boating accident.

Meh I have an SBR, with a silencer, and it's registered so I can't hide even if I wanted too.

I only own a musket to hunt deer because that is what the 2nd Amendment refers too.

I used to have a Bushmaster NBAR but sold it to finance buying a mill. I do have a complete 10.5" upper for a pistol build and a 100% lower, just need to pick up a lower parts kit. Still have all my magazines.
I still have my AK so I don't feel I'm lagging for hi-cap guns. |

People who are the worse shots are the ones that brag about how good they are all the time... Then only go out and shoot once or twice a year at best. View Quote They also brag about how they EDC, then show pics of a pistol that has no holster wear and looks like it has a box of ammo though it at most. |

Unless you have only one arm, not owning a AR15 equals fail. http://www.everydaynodaysoff.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Sig-Sauer-AR15-Pistol-Brace.jpg Doable, but not very practical. Even those two have both of their arms. Good luck doing SPORTS or what ever the lastest malfunction clearing acronym is. |
