2900 bricks of 22lr going on sale today. Limit 3 per skew. Walmart opens at 6am.

Just pulled up at 4:15 am.

I am really confused because no one else is here yet. I expected a line of 20+ people already.


OFFICIAL UPDATE:

I arrived at Walmart at 0415 and was the only person waiting. About 30 minutes another car showed, then another, and they slowly trickled in. It was 33* out so at this point we were all waiting in our cars. A guy in a truck pulls up and gets out of his truck and head towards the door.

Oh no bitch, you aren't going to be first in line. So I shut off my truck and my friend and I hussle up to the door. It's 0515 by this time. Turns out that guy was an employee and just went inside. Everyone else saw me stand by the door so they all got out of their cars. So I waited there for 45 minutes until they opened.

This guy was a neckbeard for sure. Brought his friend who was suited up in sweat pants, and then 30 minutes later a black girl shows up to buy more ammo for them.

My friend and I were able to score six bricks each, then put them in a shopping cart and walk to the back side of the ammo counter and buy another 6 each from a different cashier. We did that, and were at 12 bricks. Pretty satisfied.

Went to another Walmart that didn't start selling their 22lr ammo until 7am. They would only sell 3 boxes per person. And most of their stock was in the back. Small line, not many people. + 6 bricks

Went and sold some ammo cans to this guy:



Told him about the 22lr at walmart since he was a nice guy and bought 19 cans from me. He ran straight there. My friend and I also decided to return to WM.

Ran into eye patch guy there too, ha.

My friend and I rotated around through the cashier's and taking off jackets, glasses, etc and proceeded to buy a bunch more bricks. At one point my CC declined because I was running it at the same store for the same amount multiple times. lol.

In the end we scored 72 bricks for a total of 31,464 rounds of 22lr.

ETA UPDATE 2 - have now acquired 96 bricks. The goal was 102 but the walmarts have now sold out. Millions of rounds were sold today and gone in 8 hours. Amazing. Guess I can shave my neck now. Been growing it out for days

ETA: If it's an older Marlin, does it have the stock trigger assembly? If so, get one of the aftermarket adjustable ones. It makes a world of difference.
