Good luck collecting property taxes from the former tenants, now owners. Stupid bastards never think logically.

And all formerly law abiding Venezuelan property owners will now become Venezuelan versions of Timothy McVeigh.
Not an endorsement of the murderer - just saying, Maduro just kicked it up to a whole new level |

If I were the property owner, I'd set some thermite and GTFO.

Within 5 years the buildings will be uninhabitable. Great social experiment. I look forward to seeing once again why socialism always fails.

Detroit is next. View Quote Already done. Instead of a presidential decree, the late Mayor Coleman Young told all of the white residents to move north of Eight Mile Road (the northern city limits). Most of them did. Property values are now worth pennies on the dollar, and most of Detroit is vacant and blighted. |

I think a sledgehammer should accidentally run into all the support columns in the basement.
Repeatedly. Oops, building is structurally unstable and must be condemned. OOPS. |

We should do the same with the housing projects. Get the government out of the housing industry and give it to the tenants. Then they'll be instantly "rich" and will have to fend for themselves and if they trash the place, it's their problem.

Wait.
Explain this, I don't understand. If you're a property owner and has own said property for more than 20 years and is renting it out you're going to be required to sell it to the renters at a price the gov't sets? Is that correct? |

Someone photoshop him behind a cash register at a kwike mart, that's a Sunoco shirt!

Venezuela is running a master class on how to destroy a country from the inside out.

Soooo, their government hates property owners. And it's plan is to get rid of the property owners by making everyone own their own property.
Hmm. |
|
Just ensure the property is worth what they aim to pay for it before you hand it over... It's only fair.

It's a little thing we call patriotism. I hope they resist this tyrant effectively and in a manner consistent with the Virginia State Seal The more little Napoleon wannabe bitches like him that get ousted the happier I'll be. |
