Pre Firemission review from Trip advisor:
"Cool place, starting to have to many shady coke heads though. Not the place it once was, although it could change if they get rid of riffraff" |
|
It says "No concealed weapons".... So just show up with an AR (or two) slung over your shoulder, an MP5 hanging from your neck, and a pistol or three on your hip and drop legs!
Then proceed to order a water with extra straws and some packets of sweetener or whatever other items will cost them and not you. |

Hit. There are hundreds of 1-star reviews. I bet the owner is regretting posting that sign now
|

I go to Clemson and frequent downtown a lot, I will ensure all of my friends don't return to this shit hole. The thing is going out of business anyways, noone is ever in there.
EDIT: Friend on FB said he took the sign down last night. |

"Lousy food lousy service. Overall a very douchy atmosphere.
There is no point in eating at a place that clearly hates America so much. Excerpt from the menu: "Putin Pie Communist fries Obama Omelette Mao's Macaroni" Douchy. Very douchy." |
|
So let me get this straight: the owner's name is "Douchebag", am I correct?
Infantile fucking shit. Fuck them and their cutesy non-compliant sign. |

meh their business their rules. Dont like it dont go there? Freedom of speech and all that. View Quote Is it really freedom of speech when you violate and disobey the constitution that gave you that freedom in the first place? You are asking for freedom or rights from a piece of paper that forged our foundation but in the same breath ask for it to ignore the very same piece of paper? And yes, gun owners are exercising their right to freedom of speech. |

An 8.5 x 11 piece of paper in a window would carry no legal authority in my AO. But anyway, these tards deserve all the criticism coming their way. It also is not a legal sign in SC either Yup i live about a mile from there and am thinking about going over there and investigating. |

Food sucks, over priced. Owners a blatant liberal idiot that uses the eatablishment as a cover for his meth lab in the back
I hope this business fails and the owner commits suicide. Seriously, choose Taco Bell. View Quote |

Freedom means you are free to be a dumbass and face the backlash from customers, I hope they go out of business.

Ok just got back, they decided to stay closed an extra 3 hours today ... I wonder why...
They put up a new sign that is in the top left corner of the door. There is another set of doors directly to the right of the door with the sign that has no sign on it. So none of this even matters. |

This entire episode is an excercise in the free application of constitutional freedoms. The business owner has every right to his opinion and to forbid the presence of firearms on his property. Those who are crucifying him have every right to do that too. I suspect he will suffer far more for his exercising his freedom than he ever imagined. So even though he is within his rights he also made a bad business decision. It may actually be more important to him to ban firearms from his business than to remain in business.

Someone should stand out there and protest on Friday and Saturday nights about how the restaurant hates the Constitution.

I agree, I got a laugh. Some people went way overboard while others were quite intelligent about their posts. The contrast made it funny. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I wish I had a fake fb account as a gang banger, that could get hilarious

Guess they don't realize the insecurity of gun free zones. i.e. everybody but the bad guy is unarmed.

Nice of him to be so open about it.
Usually liberals are only that snarky behind a keyboard. |

View Quote From Shitcago. Clearly never been to the restaurant, cites a pediatrician's group as authority on gun safety ... seems legit. |

Every establishment I've ever run across that had the word "Backstreet" in any iteration, was a gay bar.
I see this particular case as fitting that paradigm. |

1 star after 200+ I wouldn't even click through to read the reviews from my phone. Yelp is going to make a killing offering to resolve those negative reviews. Each star is worth a nearly 10% increase in sales... As a result, businesses are suing over bad reviews on yelp. If you lie - I would at the very least expect a letter from their lawyers. The cost of the letter is worth it considering what a negative yelp review means in dollars and cents. View Quote Yeah. Those websites like Yelp make a killing because they charge a large sum to the business owner to take down a bad review, much less 200. |

View Quote I just flagged several of that type because they don't meet Yelp's review guidelines. |

You see fellas you've got it all wrong!
This moron signed the notice "douchebag". It followed a period at the end of the previous sentence Btw has anyone tried to ascertain whether this pub owner is a native South Carolinian or not? The reason I ask is because I suspect that people down south do not typically use the expression "douchebag" It is however a common refrain from what I refer to as the "scum belt" which is also known as New York, New Jersey, and other points further north! |
|
Facebook took it down, but Google cache sees all:
Apparently, we're all "mouth breathing morons." |
|
Has anyone found out who the owner of this back street pub is?
I'd like to know where he was born and raised BEFORE relocating to South Carolina! |
|
|
From reading the sign might one infer that the extent of the security at that place is merely guys armed with fists?
|

I have been in there. I had better check to see if I has teh aids. I hit their yelp reviews.
